Vinnie Jones: Untold is a documentary that chronicles the rise, fall, and comeback of Vinnie Jones, tracing his journey from professional footballer to FA Cup winner and one of the game’s most controversial and recognisable figures.

The original score is composed by Toydrum, Andy Britton, and Matthew Puffett, whose music underpins the documentary’s narrative and archival material.

The documentary is available to stream on Netflix.

“Looking For The Rain,” co-written by Matthew Puffett and UNKLE and featuring the late Mark Lanegan, has been licensed by Louis Vuitton for the Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall–Winter 2026 Collection, presented in Paris on Tuesday, March 10th at 11:30am.

The piece formed part of the soundtrack accompanying the unveiling of the new collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Originally released by UNKLE and featuring the unmistakable voice of Mark Lanegan, the piece continues to find new audiences through film, fashion, and visual media.

Following on from the Future Beat Alliance album Beginner’s Mind, released the previous year, Matthew Puffett (FBA) returned with a new EP, Primordial Sky. Moving into a heavier mood, the release focused more directly on the dance floor.

The EP was released on limited-edition red vinyl and digitally, with the vinyl edition featuring Claude Young’s deeply immersive version of “Birth”. The track “Mode 4” was released digitally on 21 April, followed by the full digital and vinyl release on 7 May 2021.

It was a long time coming, but finally the Beginner’s Mind album was released. There had been a lot of chipping away at this one over the years, but the project was repeatedly put on hold as other production work came through, followed by the worldwide Covid-19 lockdowns.

It was a very strange time in general, and releasing and promoting a new record felt particularly risky. Despite that, we were over the moon with how Beginner’s Mind was received, and in many ways it felt like a fitting record to arrive in the middle of all that chaos.

R&S Records welcomed electronic composer Matthew Puffett, aka Future Beat Alliance, with his single Never Forever — a sublime slice of broken-beat techno that originally appeared as a limited release on his Patience & Distance album in 2009.

The 2020 Music Producers Guild Awards is an annual event celebrating the creativity, skill and talent of music recording professionals. James Lavelle (UNKLE) teamed up with his lifelong friend and collaborator Matthew Puffett to engineer and remix Perry Farrell’s “Pray For This World”. The remix was nominated for, and went on to win, the MPG Remix of the Year 2020 award. Puffett had previously collaborated with and engineered several remixes for UNKLE in 2016 and 2018, with both projects also receiving the award.
